Island Park Fundraiser
Within the past year, the State Health Department shut
down the baseball/football concession stand-effective Dec. 31, 2010. This is
a major blow to Windom's football and baseball programs and to Island Park
itself. The concession stand raises money for ballpark maintenance,
fertilizer, paint, fencing, mowing, equipment and opportunities to help
youth baseball/football in Windom.
